OFFICE OF Fort Worth. City Water Works

Jno. F. Lehane, Chairman Water Committee H. L.Calhoun, Secretary

FORT WORTH, Texas May 2Ist,06. 190____

Hon. C.G. Harrold, Chairman. and Water Works Committee.

Gentlemen;-

I am pleased to report that a test was made today of the six new wells recently completed by the City west of the City limits and the total output of the six wells, measured in the intake will at the pump house was One Million, Two Hundred and six Thousan, One hundred and forty four gallons of water in twenty four hours(I.206.I44)

While the wells were pumped about four hours yesterday before being turned into the conduit line, the water is still quite heavy with sand, which not alone discolors the water, but requires more air pressure to pump, thereby cutting down the flow from what it will be when the water is entirely cleared up which will be in a few days.

Respectfully submitted.
