WM.J. ESTES, ASSISTANT.

OFFICE OF JNO. T. MONTGOMERY. CITY SECRETARY,

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, April 26 1906

Hon Mayor & City Council

Gentlemen.

Your petitioner would respectfully state that he is the owner of lots 10 and 11 Block 40 Glenroad Addition on Bessie Street, upon which he has erected a two story brick store house. and a full frame cottage, both costing many thousands of dollars that one of the owners of a lot in the vicinity of this improvement has so filled his lot as to obstruct the natural drainage and when a heavy rain causes all waste water runs over the lot of petitioners and has so washed the foundation of his structure that same is about to fall down and has now been injured to a large extent. at a very small cost the city could remedy the situation and your petitioner would ask that your street Commissioner and Engineer be instructed to at once relieve the situation and save destruction of my property.
