Fort Worth, Texas, Dec. 16th 1904.

Hon. Mayor & City Council,

Gentlemen:-

We your Purchasing Committee would respectfully state that we advertised for bigs for furnishing coal for the public schools & other buildings of the city, by notifying every coal dealer in Fort Worth, and received three bids. We opened said bids, at 10 o-clock A.M.this day, and after examining same awarded the contract to B.T.Bibb & Co for Carterville Big Muddy coal at $5.50 per ton delivered in bins where needed. Attached you with find bids as Presented.
