To the Honorable City Council of Fort Worth, Texas.

Gentlemen:

Your Petitioners, W. C. Mullins, J. M. Mullins and Sarah Mullins, represent unto your Honorable Body that they are the owners of a lot in the City of Fort Worth fronting North 100 feet on Railroad Avenue, between GAlveston and Main Streets, and that the City of Fort Worth owns and controlls a hydrant at the corner of Railroad Avenue and Galveston Street, from which the Fort Worth Sprinkling Company obtains water; that there is no sink leading into the storm sewer, and that the water from said hydrant is permitted constantly to overflow the wagon and hence it runs down along the street in front of your petitioners premises and creates a continuous mud hole along their entire front, which is very detrimental to the health, convenience and comfort of your petitioners premises. And your petitioners further represent that this condition has existed for several years, and is growing constantly worse until it has become almost an intolerable nuisance.

Your Petitioners pray that the City of Fort Worth erect a sink at said hydrant, whereby the overflow from the water-wagons will be conducted into the storm sewer instead of going to waste upon the surface and creating the nuisance above mentioned, or that it provide some other means of abating said nuisance, or that it require said Sprinkling Company in some manner to abate the same.

All of which is respectfully submitted.
