To the Hon mayor & City Council of the City of Fort Worth.

Gentlemen

Your petitioner, T.J. Maben would Respectfully represent to your Hon. body That he is the owner of the East 50ft of Lot 6 Blk 90, City of Fort Worth. That taxes are due said city for several years and judgment has been rendered foreclosing tax lien against said property and the same has been & old to the City That your petitioner is desirous of settling said taxes, and the Board of Equalization has reduced the value of said property to $400.00 for each of said years, but the officials of said city have refused to recognize the said reduction without some action by your Honorable Body-

Wherefore petitioner prays that your Hon. Body instruct the mayor and sec. to execute a proper release to me upon the payment of said taxes on the reduced valuation and all interest & costs.
