of the City of Fort Worth.

Gentlemen

Your petitioner, T.J. Maben would
Respectfully represent to your Hon. body That
he is the owner of the East 50ft of Lot 6 Blk 90,
City of Fort Worth. That taxes are due said
city for several years and judgment has been
rendered foreclosing tax lien against said prop-
erty and the same has been & old to the City
That your petitioner is desirous of settling
said taxes, and the Board of Equalization
has reduced the value of said property to
$400.00 for each of said years, but the of-
ficials of said city have refused to recognize
the said reduction without some action
by your Honorable Body-

Wherefore petitioner prays that your
Hon. Body instruct the mayor and sec. to
execute a proper release to me upon the
payment of said taxes on the reduced valuation and
all interest & costs.
