To turn a rume in the Eyes

Take of Rock Alom one ounce of white coperis half an ounce
beat it very small & boyl it in thre pints of springe water
til one pint be consumed stir it often at the first
boyling keep it in a dry place

To Turn an humer

Take a quart of Spring water put into it one
handfull of rosmary one handfull of Sage a pice of alom as big as a pulets
ege & a pice of Campher as big as the tope of
your finger boyl it in wel togather & wash
the place grived often with it beat you Alum
& Campher small & stir it often at the first it
must be glovers Alum if it be much in flaimed
ad woodbine leaves vilot leaves bramble leaves
bame

For Sore Eyes

Take a young hasile Stick & twist it & the
Iuse that comes out of it put in to the Eyes

to Stop a blaiding at the Nose

Take the best white wine vinneger you can get &
wash the Mole of the head very wel with it then let the
fumes of hot vinneger go up in to the nose & dip a cloth
in to the hot vinneger dab the nose with it boath on
the out Side & on the in side

{Rx} For the runing of the Reins

mingle ince vinice Turpentine with a powder of Cinamon til it
bee thick then make it in to balls or pills rolls them them in
fine sugar take there of 5 in the morning & 3 at night
lying on your back fast 2 or three hours after doe this
6 or 7 days togather in great extremity of thirst you
may drink a cup of Aligant with cinamon adde a
lettle mastick to it if you doe you must beat
the mastick & Turpentine wel togather & after
put the cinamon to it

For the Gout

{Rx} A pint of sallad oil a quarter of a pound
of Red Lead an ounce Ceruse three leaves to double
leavd Gold five grains of Musk three grains of
Civet 20 grains of Amber greece you may adde to
these a quarter of an ounce of Letharge of gold

A purging Cordiall

{Rx} half an ounce of Aloes bruised a quarter of an
ounce Rubarb bruised one handfull of Carduus Leaves
one ounce of bay berries bruised these infused in a
quart of the best Nants Brandy & Take one spoonfull
in a morning fasting & walk eat not nor drink in
2 hours after taking the dose
