APRIL 1944

23 Sun-2nd after Easter. S. George

Lovely day.
Went to S. School in morning and taught Primary.
Had Mr Hare for dinner. Went to S. School in
afternoon & wore my new costume. S. L. Hump
came for tea & took me to coral services in church.
Taffy Stan Aurther Billy and Elsie came in to
supper.

24 Mon
Quite a cold dull day. We
spring cleaned the sculery. I painted
it all pale green. Got changed in
evening and listened to wireless.
Ted came in. Drove the tractor
for a short time.

25 Tues-S. Mark
Cold windy day.
Made some short bread biscuits
in morning. Painted the outside
of the summer house dark green
in afternoon. Drove tractor in evening.

26 Wed
Gorgeous day. Helped Mummie
in morning and made a cake and
some oatmeal biscuits. Went to
meet Betty in afternoon who came
for tea. Drove tractor in evening.
