Referred to Street Committee Communications Received From the Surveyor recommending the conversion of boulders into Macadam. Referred to Street Committee Committees Reports Rec'd From the Street Committee on the petition of C K Jenner et al for a partial grade on Washington Street 9th to 12th recommending that with the consent of G N Alexander the contractor on said Street, the contract for the grading of said street be extended as the same rates so as to embrace a grade of uniform width between 9th and 12th Streets as prayed for by said petitioners and that the City Surveyor be required to make estimated thereon, that the assessments for said grade be is modified as to be in harmony with the extension of said contract. 363 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Sept 18/83 the desription of property therein necesslary & that the matter of further equalizing & Correcting said Roll be laid over until September 25, 1883 at 7&1/2 o'clock pm. And now the Council proceeds to consider the Ordinance for a Street Railway franchise submitted by the "Seattle Street Railway Co." After considering & amending the same until the hour of adjournment, the further consideration of said ordinance is laid over until September 25,1883. Ordered that the petition of E G Johnson et al for the passage of an Ordinance annexed to regulate the sale of Intoxicating liquors be taken from the table and referred to the Judiciary Committee Ordered that the application of Frank Wilton for a Retail liquor license be &is hereby granted.
