From the Street comtee asking that the Ordinance submitted by J B Metcalf for a Street Railway franchise be taken up for consideration by the Council. From Street Comtee rejecting thepetitionof John Angels et al for the use of the foot of Columbia Street. Adopted petition denied. From Street Comtee recommending that the grades be estblished onVine Street from Water Street to 5th Street. Blanchard Street from Front Street to the alley between 5th and 6th Street and Bell Street from Front Street to 6th Street. Adopted and Surveyor is hereby instructed to submit the proper elevations. Referred to Street Committee Committees Reports Rec'd From the Street Committee on the petition of C K Jenner et al for a partial grade on Washington Street 9th to 12th recommending that with the consent of G N Alexander the contractor on said Street, the contract for the grading of said street be extended as the same rates so as to embrace a grade of uniform width between 9th and 12th Streets as prayed for by said petitioners and that the City Surveyor be required to make estimated thereon, that the assessments for said grade be is modified as to be in harmony with the extension of said contract.
