The subscribers, being Proprietors of lots in the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, hereby signify their assent to the Act of the Legislature passed the thirty first day of March AD. eighteen hundred & thirty five, entitled an Act to incorporated the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn.— Dated April 21 1835.

At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery on 19 July 1834, present— Judge Story, Gen: Dearborn, M^r Bond, M^r Cook, D^r Bigelow, M^r Gould M^r Brown & M^r Curtis

Fees for interment

M^r Bond offered a schedule of fees proper to be charged by the Superintendant, for services relative to interments, which was adopted

Lafayette

A letter signed by H F Baker, L. M. Walter & C. F. Adams a Committee of the Young Men of Boston, requesting to have a lot of land assigned for a Cenoptaph in memory of Gen: Lafayette, was read, and thereupon voted that the laudable design of the Young Men of Boston to erect a Cenotaph in memory of Lafayette has the cordial approbation of the Committee, and ^^that a suitable piece of ground in the Cemetery shall be laid out & appropriated to the erection of such monument— D^r Bigelow, M^r Bond & M^r Curtis were appointed a Committee to designate the spot where the Cenotaph shall be erected

Wagon

M^r Bond was appointed a Committee to procure a Wagon for transporting stone & other heavy burdens within the garden & cemetery.—

House

M^r Bond was appointed a Committee to repair the Superintendant's House—

Posts

Also to erect an additional number of posts for horses without the Gate & within the grounds, at his discretion—

Benches

Also to erect such number of benches in the grounds as he deems expedient
