At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery on , present— Judge Story, Gen: Dearborn, Mr
Bond
, Mr Cook, Dr Bigelow, Mr Gould Mr Brown
& Mr Curtis

Fees for interment

Mr Bond offered a schedule of fees proper to be
charged by the Superintendant, for services relative
to interments, which was adopted

Lafayette

A letter signed by H F Baker, L. M. Walter & C. F. Adams
a Committee of the Young Men of Boston, requesting
to have a lot of land assigned for a Cenoptaph in me-
mory of Gen: Lafayette, was read, and thereupon
voted that the laudable design of the Young Men
of Boston
to erect a Cenotaph in memory of Lafayette
has the cordial approbation of the Committee,
and ^that a suitable piece of ground in the Cemetery
shall be laid out & appropriated to the erection
of such monument—
Dr Bigelow, Mr Bond & Mr Curtis were appointed a
Committee to designate the spot where the Cenotaph
shall be erected

Wagon

Mr Bond was appointed a Committee to procure
a Wagon for transporting stone & other heavy burdens
within the garden & cemetery.—

House

Mr Bond was appointed a Committee to repair
the Superintendant's House

Posts

Also to erect an additional number of posts for
horses without the Gate & within the grounds, at
his discretion—

Benches

Also to erect such number of benches in the
grounds as he deems expedient
