Dear Sir,

There are several matters, in connection with the "Reservations" so called, to which I wish to call your attention.

1st - The wording of the vote, (P. 3^ 5th section of enclosed "Extracts from Records, relating to Reservations") does not seem to legally reserve the space at the south end of Auburn Lake , as said space is more than 30 ft. wide. Should not the language be changed or explained to allow 30 ft from Lake at South end?

Dear Sir,

In connection with the matter of "Reservations" (see letter of April 15) I would say that the only way in which an unpracticed person can distinguish them is by their color on the "Sectional Plan"; and as several are not yet colored.

viz - " 1 - " lot in front of Chapel" 2 - " Alice Fountain, "Reservation" 3 - " Land around Auburn Lake" 4 -" Reservation of the Mound."

I would respectfully recommend that Shedd & Sawyer be requested to [attend?] to this as soon as possible.

Walter Hastings Esq.

Dear Sir

I have carefully examined your lot as now curbed & also the proposed addition as last reported by Col. Folsom & have come to the conclusion that the plan as shown by him, was the most feasible way to increase the size of lot.

Yours rerspectfully James W. Lovering Supt

Dear Sir

I regret to inform you that the Bridge across the two portions of Auburn Lake is unfit for service & in my opinion needs renewing. The timbers are old & unsound. I estimate the cost of replacing on the present plan at $325.

The cost of new benches for Chapel, similar to those now there will be $16. each.

Yours respectfully James W. Lovering Supt
