Dear Friend
I received your nice letter yesterday Friday and I was very glad to hear from you. I also received one from my mother thanking me for the paintings she received, and of the portrait I did of my daughter. She has 20 paper back books ready to send me as soonas I get permission from the Deputy to receive them, and she did send me $10.00 and it was nice after being on strike and so on. I will see Father Foley tonight and I will give him your regards.
I hope you in good health and things are going good for you. I received the picture & the little card you send, and the colors are beautiful. I have many little careds and pictures as these put away for I will find use of them someday.
I am in good health and doing a lot of reading and drawing. I will be giving blood when the blood bank comes this month. I get 5 days knocked off my
