Dear Dar Van Waters, Please forgive me for not answering your letter sooner but I have not felt to much in the mood for writing.
I am still locked up & I dont know when I'll be getting out. Sometimes I have written to Mr Butterworth in the hope I would be able to see him but I never get an answer.
You tell me not to lose faith in people. Well I am left with no choice. Yes I caused a commotion because I became frightened & ran but am I suppose to be locked up for weeks or months because I became frightened? I was made to do 15 days on the boards &
