In order to render our Register of Interments complete, which I am now endeavoring to do, will you please send me the age (in years, mos. & ds.) of Mrs. Mary Thacher, whose body was interred in your lot in Mt. Auburn on the 17^th of Jany. last.

No other fact was wanting on your order. By your prompt reply you will will oblige.

I enclose a notice to a Special Com^ee of which you are Chairman, accompanied with some facts bearing upon the matter.-

Two or three days since, I sent to Mr. Curtis, at his request, a paper containing some reasons for uniting the offices of Secretary & Treas^r in the same person, if the Trustees should find no sufficient impediment. These were in substance what I had previously expressed to him, when it was supposed two years since then would be some change with the duties, and possibly in the person, of Treasurer.-

I think this ^^course would be the one most satisfactory to the Corporation and Proprietors.
