Messrs Shedd & Sawyer

Gents,

Enclosed please find a plan of the unoccupied space in rear of lots #458 & #486 W. Willow Ave. Mt. Auburn.

The lots (A), (B) &c. are now staked out.

Please stake out (X), something like the [check?] lines, without disturbing any stakes new in the ground, making as good a shaped lot as possible, with the proper spaces around it, so that a customer can take his choice of (X) and (A). This lot is [?] for Wm Dexter Esq Boston

Respectfully C.W. Folsom Supt. Per E.T.K.

Wm S. Dexter Esq.

Dr Sir

I understand from the late Supt Col. Folsom that you looked at some ground near the lot of H.A. Whitney Esq - with the view of buying a lot there.

The lot has been restaked so as to make a good lot of about 284 feet which I thought I would offer to you before any one else, as you had looked at it once.

I should be glad to have your decision before long, as I am having frequent applications for lots, but I shall not dispose of this before and hope to hear from you by that time

Respectfully James W. Lovering Supt.

Hon Sidney Bartlett.

Dear Sir

I have the honor to acknowledge your favor of the 28th inst. I have had a statement made up, showing the details of the work done for you, adding also the amount of stone used in the foundation, which my clerk rendered in a separate bill, so that this account now comprises everything except the setting of the corner posts, which I think are not now ready.

I happened to meet Col. Folsom and made some inquiries from him as to his agreement with you, and think you will find I have come within his estimate.

Respectfully Yrs. James W. Lovering Supt

Wm S. Dexter Esq

Dear Sir

I send you certificates for the lots which you can exchange for the deeds. By our by-laws a passage way must be left between every two lots except by consent of trustees, which I have no doubt they will give.

I expect the brick graves will be ready for removals by next week, and as soon as they are made I will complete the lot as far as season? will allow.

Yours truly J.W. Lovering

Geo. H. Chickering Esq

Dear Sir

I have your valued favor of 10th inst in regard to covering the monument on lot #2282 & will use every effort to have it done in the best manner. I do not however wish to be understood as assuming any risk on so valuable a price of property.

Yours truly J.W. Lovering Supt
