Rain most of the day.

Ben shod his colt this evening. Paul went to Johnson Reynolds and got a nice basket of peaches this morning. This evening he has gone to up in his olde neighborhood.

I went to Carries this evening and helped Carrie peal some peaches.

Josie was sick all the morning but is some better this evening. I wrote Jim a note tonight.

A good day. Some rain tonight. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain this morning.

Paul has not come home yet. Mr Owen went to the mill this morning did not get his grinding. Josie got dinner.

Ben went to Cedar Forest and carried Henry and I with him. We did not catch any fish to speak of. He got his flue eyes for the new barn.

Josie and Edna and Franklin went to Marvins a while this evening.

Rain today. Ben commenced topping tobacco. Paul come home this morning.

Josie ironed. I got dinner. This evening I went to Marvins. Several of Carries children are complaining. I certainly do hope that they may get well soon.

Kate Harvey was there. Heard today that Gordon Bennett was married Tuesday.

A good day. Ben and Paul and Owen dobed on the barn. Josie and Edna and Franklin went to Mr Jim Powers. Henry and I staid at home and done what was most needing to be done.

Tonight Ben and Paul and Josie has gone to the school house. Chesley Edmons come home to finish his crop. There was several of the boys had to start to camp to day.

Franklin went to bed and to sleep did not have a bit of fuss.

A good day here. There was clouds and rain a round and very hard thunder. Ben and Paul and Owen worked on the barns this morning. This evening Owen helped Hutcherson thrash wheat.

Josie got dinner. This evening she put strings around Bens water melon patch.

I went to Reynolds they were all at home except Johnson. I had a pleasant visit. I like Jane fine. Come back by Marvins they were getting on fine.
