OCTOBER 16

1931. Went to school today came home this afternoon. Studied my English lesson tonight.

1932. Rex came this afternoon and we went to Pleasant View to church. Mr. & Mrs. Conley & Raymond came a while tonight.

1933. I did the general house work today. Mary came this afternoon. Stella came also. I have been nearly sick today.

1934. Mrs Rigney, Mary & I went to Hopkinsville today to the annual Missionary meeting. I enjoyed the day real well.

1935. I cleaned up the house, got dinner and ironed today. Fred Slaton came a little while today. Albert came a little while tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight. Rex worked on the road again today.

OCTOBER 17

1931. Stayed at home all day and studied my lessons.

1932. I have been almost sick today. Mrs. Conley came this afternoon. Dad went to town today.

1933. Dock & I washed this morning and I got dinner. I churned this afternoon and read some short stories.

1934. I cleaned up the house, churned, got dinner & started making my new dress today but didn't get very much done on it. Earl ate dinner with us. I wrote a letter to Mother today Sis & I went over to Uncle Alonza's tonight.

1935. I have been nearly sick. I got a letter from Mother today. Zolie ate dinner here today. Sis got a letter from Elizabeth.
