OCTOBER 10

1931. Studied this morning. Mother and myself went over to see Ocie a little while this afternoon.

1932. Mother & I pieced on a quilt today . It rained this afternoon.

1933. I sewed some today and did the house work. Nothing happened unusual.

1934. I ground some tomatoes, peppers, onions & cabbage to make catsup this morning. I cleaned up the house & got dinner also. I made some doughnuts today. William Ross, Elizabeth & Leona came this afternnoon. Elizabeth & Leona helped me peal [peel] pears.

1935. I canned some pears, made some pear preserves, churned, got dinner & cleaned up the house. I wrote a letter to Mother today.

OCTOBER 11

1931. Stayed at home all day Cosby came this afternoon.

1932. I quilted some today. Mrs. Conley came this afternoon. I got a card from Alline Slaton today.

1933. Rex & I washed this morning. I got dinner and churned. I ironed some this afternoon. Sis ironed some after she got home from school.

1934. I made some catsup, canned some pears and made some pear preserves today. I cleaned up the house & got dinner also. Rex & Dock are sowing wheat over at Ida's today.

1935. I cleaned up the house, patched some & got dinner. I went to Leona's this afternoon & helped to get the wedding ring quilt finished. Mrs. Oglesby, Margarette, Mrs. Merrill were there also & I got a letter from Mother today.
