I took sister Harriet over to
Thos Lea's to spend the day. calling
at Chas. G. Porter's as we went
over, but he was away from home.
I brought Edwd home with me
from "Homewood" where he went
early this morning to gather some
"black berrys". After dinner
I went over to W W Moore's to
see R R Moore Jr's inft. daughter
I was called in to see Henrietta
Dent at John Howard's. Edwd
went with the boys to bathe
at the River. Sarah Dent
called for Med: for "Henrietta".
After supper Edwd drove over
to Thos: Lea's & brought his aunt
Harriet home. John W Johnson
called here.

Chas: Stabler & J.T. Henderson
called. I drove to Ashton, Chas
Stabler going down with me.
I paid Chas. G. Porter Thirty-
one Dollars, leaving a ballance
due him of Five Dollars, up to
Aug: 1^st 1893. Alice Peirce came
& took Sister Harriet home with
her to make them a visit. I went
up to the toll house & paid Tho's
Waters of S. taxes amounting to
$14.55.
