NOVEMBER, WEDNESDAY 30th 1887.

Beautiful winter day
clear & frosty. I drove up
to "Avalon" in the "spring
wagon" & brought home Miss
Mary Gilpins light buggy
pale, after which I went
to Hettie Stabler's in the
buggy & got some lard,
sausage, scrapple, and
"spare rib". I went up to
the mill (with Edwd) & paid
Henderson for flour I got on
Monday evening & also got
coarse meal for "dog feed".
Afternoon I drove to Ashton & had
irons on buggy pole altered (drilling
a new hole in each) After supper I
wrote to Charley enclosing $2.00
"Postal Note" & walked up to the
store & mailed the letter.
Was sent for at 8-30 & drove to
Jno Abell's & prescribed for his
son Joseph.
