JUNE, WEDNESDAY 29th 1887.

Left home in the carriage
riage with "Fritz" & "Kit" and
Charley driving for Laurel
Baltimore & "Naufernoy. " We
took with us from Ashton, a
man who had been sent up
as an "expert" to adjust the
"binders" whoes name was "Turner"
Reached Balto & went to T. Tyson's
office & then up town to "William's"
(the instrument maker)
and to barber shop. and after
a long tedious waiting
in the hot Camden Station
at 4.50 p.m. we left over the
new B &O Philada Road to
Great Gunpowder Station which
is 2 miles from Naufernoy where
Malcom met us & after a pleasant
ride through the woods were kindly
received by Mrs T. there was a
"whist party" in the evening & we
also had some excellent music

JUNE, THURSDAY 30th 1887.

Slept well at "Naufermoy"
& after breakfast F T & I drove
over to an ice pond on "Retter
house's" place to see Malcom
& three of his little friends take
a swim, called on our return
at Mr Haven Wilson's. lunched
at 1-30- took a nap. & at 3 pm
Mr J T F Randolph arrived from
N.Y. some ladies called soon
after. dined at 6.pm. and
retired about 11-15 feeling
quite tired.
