March 28th. Saturday.
Mary McAveny brought a note from
Mrs. Thos. Smith requesting her readmission.
She made her escape over the Cottage. and has
been "on the streets" ever since. this is her third
time & there seems less hope than ever.

Sabbath 29th
No Minister untill [until] evening, when Mr. Lee
came. Revd. H..Gaud's name is on their "Plan"
but he dont come.

Monday 30th.
Sent a note to the superintendent
Infirmary (in reply to his enquiries)
stating that we can [underscored] recieve [receive] fallen
characters, when desirous of reformation.
Capt. Scott has sent again requesting admission for a
girl, and his only plea is, her "weak intellect."

Teusday [tuesday] 31st.
Sub comt. met. 4 ladies present.
Charlotte Linden reprimanded for
idleness & leaving her iorning [ironing] without any
reason. Wrote to Mr Pritchard
requesting him to send in a weekly bill in future
together with a bill for this month.

Wednesday, April 1st
Susan Atkins continues giving
trouble. by half [underscored] doing the work she is
entrusted with. and quarelling.
Agnes O.Brian has fits. she has been in
them for hours this Morng.
Mary Nolan scalded both feet to day
gave them flour to cover the scalds.
