April 2nd.
Thursday. Kate Tubman is very quiet and
industrious. what she takes in hand is
done well. only the poor thing's legs wont
get well, after the abuse they have had.
Agnes O.Brian has had another fit today.
Mary Nolan was more frightened than hurt. now
the flour is taken off her feet we find the scalds are very
trifling.

April 3rd
Friday. Ladies general Comt. 13 present.

Number of inmates in the house 31.
Mr. Pritchard not having sent the March bill, I had to
go before breadfast this Morng. for it.

April 4th.
Saturday. Received payment for
S.S. 'Rakaia' s washing (£30. 11. 9
Ellen Hurly asked readmission, has walked from Mudgee.

Sabbath 5th.
Revd. W. Mills preached 11 oclk, and
Revd. W. Robson preached 3. oclk. we are
sorry to hear that this is his last visit to us, as he
leaves Sydney for Forbes next Thursday.
Dr. Nathan has had an accident. all the inmates are
very sorry.

Monday 6th.
Took J Drew to Mrs. Capps's (having
already to go to the Bank with money)
