Tomatoe Catsup (Mothers)

1/2 bu. tomatoes 1 qt vinegar, 1/2 lb. salt
1/4 lb. black pepper. 1/4 lb. allspice. 1 oz.
cloves, 6 onions 2 lb. brown sugar 1
handful peach leaves. Boil 3 hrs. stirring
constantly.

Angel food

11 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tb. vanilla
1 tb. cream tartar

sift flour 4 times. add cream tartar sift
again. Sift sugar + measure. Beat egg
whites stiff. add sugar gradually then
flour. Then vanilla. Bake in ungreased pan
