Cheese Straws

One half cup butter.
One cup grated
cheese,
One +1/2 cups flour.
one half teaspoon salt.
A dash of cayenne
pepper.
Yolk one egg:

Mix first ingredients
well together. like pie
paste. Add egg yolk
last. Roll about 1/4 in.
thick, cut out in strips
and bake in fairly
hot oven.

Good to serve at luncheons.
