3/4 cups shortening
1 1/3 cup sugar
2/3 " water
2 eggs
2 cups oatmeal
1 1/2 cups flour - salt
1 cup nuts (fine)
1 cup raisins - (cut)
1/2 tea spoon cinnamon and nutmeg
Add last 1 level teaspoon
soda in 3 tablespoons hot
water

Make thick and drop in
greased pan to bake
