Office as usual. thawing
hard. Letter from Alick
& wrote him. Drove out the
Hamilton Road in the big sleigh
with the children to see a
cow.

WEDNESDAY, 22
Thawing still very fast.
Bought the cow from Ward.

THURSDAY, 23
Frost last night. Didn't come
home as usual to lunch & find
it a good plan. At 4 p.m. walked
out home with Davies (R.C.R.) then drove
tandem up to the Johnson's & took
Miss Johnson for a drive. Davies
to dinner. Children presented me with a
scrap book.

Clear bright day. Davies out
to lunch. Children went to the
Griffins to dinner. Heaps of
work in the office. The Governor
& Crawford off to Bothwell at
12.40. p.m. Governor home from
B. Crawford slept here

SATURDAY, 25
Muggy weather. Crawford
to stay here for some time.
Rain in afternoon.

SUNDAY, 26
Morning service with Gov & Crawford.
Slight showers in the morning.
Walked in with Crawford at 6 p.m to
mail some letters.
