Cold stormy day. Walked
in & out of town. Wrote to
the Governor. Miss Ash to
dinner. Walked home with
her, snow very deep. Fine
clear moonlight night.

FRIDAY, 10
Cold stormy day. After lunch
took the children for a short
drive.

SATURDAY, 11
Mild day but evening cold &
damp. Drove M.H. about
& came home at 7 p.m.

Thermometer at night 12 below zero.
Church a.m. with Co & Mum.
Mack Wilson to lunch.
Very clear day & bright sun.

MONDAY, 13
At 4 a.m. therm 25 (degrees) below zero.
Bright clear day. Wrote to Alick.
After lunch went visiting with
Mum in the Russian sleigh.
Called at Cronyn's, Lawrence's, Reed's
Goodhuis's & Jn Hamiltons & Harrisons.

TUESDAY, 14
Therm above zero on average with
a bright sun all day. Letter from
the Governor at Montreal.
