& V. Cronyns to dinner.
Governor at St Thomas
in afternoon.

SATURDAY, 4
Very wet. Saw Jim Dewar
off to Chicago with Bessie.
Had a long talk with
Miss Dewar. Took the big mare
to Rudd's.

SUNDAY, 5
Cold, stormy day. Church
morning and evening at
cathedral.

Fine day, perhaps a little too
cold. The Gov. missed 6 a.m.& 3.40
p.m. G.T.R. trains & left by 6 p.m.
for Toronto & East. Volunteers
had a route march in the
afternoon.

TUESDAY
Cold day. In evening
got my books from Gunnells
by old Ben. Heavy snow
storm at night. Went
over to Baileys to see Mack
Wilson & drove up to the farm to
get him.

WEDNESDAY, 8
Cold stormy day. Walked in
& out of town a.m. at 4 p.m.
left office to drive Tandem with
Mack W. Had both our mares out
Hunt. Hen Givins and Mack to
dinner.
