THURSDAY, 5.
Office morning & afternoon
Took the cutter to Fraser's to have
the cross piece of the shaft
removed. Had a cutter from
Coote meantime.

FRIDAY, 6.
Office morning & afternoon. No end of
work. walked in in the morning for
the first time for a long time.

Mr. H. S. Strathey to dinner. [illegible] came
home in the morning.

while. Governor at St. Thomas.
Very cold but clear. Cutting
wind from the North.

SUNDAY, 8.
Cathedral in the morning with the
children and Nurse. After Lunch
went for a walk to Brough's bridge
& back with Co. Flo & Alice. Fine day
but cold wind from South.

MONDAY, 9.
Office morning & afternoon
Cox (new clerk) came to the office x
first time. Fine day but [crossed out illegible]
a wet snow storm in the evening.
Lots of work in the office.
Commenced Byles on Bills
