- Sophora Japonica. (340). (not a tree?). Fine, deep green, pinnate leaves. Flowers white. C.S.

(1) European white ash and elm, have the advantage over the American, that the foliage remains fresh upon the trees from two to four weeks later in the fall. C.S.
