Vessel "Rebecca & Ann" Stores
Sir, 22nd Novbr 1859
In reply to your letter of the 18th Inst I beg to acquaint you
that - at the request of Mr Wilson - Secretary to the Trinity
Board_ I directed the Stores saved from the Vessel above
named to be taken to Grimsby and reported to you
- instead of being reported to me - in order that one
Settlement of Salvage only might take place.

Vessel "Dove" 22 Novbr 1859
By the Victualling Bill of the "Dove" there appears to have
been on board when she left Sunderland on the
27th Ulto__ 12 lbs Raw Sugar, 2 lbs Refined Sugar
2 lbs Tobacco.
The Collector will thank Mr Ross to {to} enquire
what has become of these Stores and report result

A Boat belonging the "Stockton Packet
In reply to the aforegoing instructions - I request to be
informed whether Lloyds Agent is at liberty to sell
Wreck which has been formally delivered into my
custody without communicating with me -
as was the case in the instance of the Boat in
question _ The Coast Guard Officer could not pre-
-vent her from being taken away from the place
where she was hauled up _ as he did not know
anything about the matter till he saw her
a mile from the Shore.
With respect to placing Wreck Articles _ in the
district of Kilnsea where the Boat came on shore
in such a position where they can be protected
