of proceeds of wrecks, - for the Quarter Ended 30th June
was altered from £65 . 17 . 1 to £59 . 2 . 5. - As such
alteration will reduce the balances carried forward in my
Accounts for the Quarter Ended 30th September last, - and
also the current Quarter. _ I request your directions
as to the adjustment of the same, - each being now
£6 . 14 . 8 too much. JS.

the 3rd in} circular No 102, on the subject of "Duty on
Wr Timber". It is numbered --- 260. The last number
with which I have been supplied, preceding the one
above mentioned is - Number 253

I will therefore thank you to supply
me with numbers, 254, 255, 256, 257, 258, 259. ------

Mr. James Mason has been with me
to day about the piece of Keelson at Spurn which
you say you sold for 15 s/ Mr Mason says he apprized
you that it was part of the "Commerce" and belonged
to his party. --- You should therefore have stayed
selling it till you had written to me - the only
thing now to be done is, if Mr Mason's account is
correct, to return the 15 s/ and let him settle, through
you, with the men who hauled it on shore. -
