Gentlemen

Your letter of the 17th instant
to Captain Metcalfe of Bridlington respecting
the Vessel "Friendship" has been handed
to me as the Receiver of Wreck for the
Bridlington district - and I have forwarded
it by todays post to the Board of Trade
for instructions - The two Bonds and
the £65 therein mentioned are in my
keeping JS

Annexed is a letter from Messrs Jenner Dyke and Jenner of Doctors Commons,
addressed to Captain Metcalfe of Bridlington
on behalf of the Salvors of the Vessel
above named - requesting that the
entered into by Mr Moxon and Mr England
the owners of the Cargo, and £65 deposited
by the master, may be remitted to the
High Court of Admiralty - as forwarded
to you - I herewith return the Bonds
to you,- together with a Copy of the
agreement made between the Master
and Salvors that £300 should be
paid for their services - Also an award
drawn up by Messrs Brambles & Son - Agent
for Lloyds at Bridlington, and communications
on the subject of the said award that passed
between Mr Moxon, Mr England and
myself - I have replied to Messrs Jenner
that those documents have been forwarded
to you and that the £65 is still in my
hands awaiting your instructions JS
