wish to encroach upon your time by addressing useless
letters to you respecting the Alabama claims but
having seen some statements in the papers certifying
the rules adopted do not exclude any claims having the
color of justice I thought it must not be amis to
call your attention to it enclosed please find the statements
that I spoke of
