January 1917, Sunday 14 Yesterday to Lillers to last lecture on the Crazy Sanitation courses. Exhibition of some very ordinary sanitary contrivances Met Maj Jaclies and had tea at his [Mess] Capl Ross + Burgess also. Back to Fosse 10 + dinner Home at 2:30 a.m. Today cold but fine. Nothing new and everything very quiet.
