home again. Of course one can never tell just whether we will or not. This town is about eight miles from Brussels and is about twelve miles from Waterloo. I was up to Brussels the other day and had a good look around that place. The call it the young Paris. Well it sure is a very fine place and very pretty. Things cost a great deal of money and so it is impossible to stay there long.
I will try and get to see Waterloo but cannot say whether I will be able to or not. Will try very hard though. The people around here are Flemish and speak a Flemish language, which is half English and half German. They are very nice to us but not like the real French people. I will tell you all about these things when I get home.
Well Fan I must write Susanne so will close now. Thanking you and Frank again for the parcel and hoping you are well. Your loving Bro
Ted.
