Sunday. [Hoeylaert?] Belgium
Jan 12th 1919.

My dear Fan: -

I started a letter to you in the middle of the week, but [as?] I had written a couple of letters then and it was too late to finish yours.

I have not heard from you people in Toronto lately until the other day when I received one from the three of you. I also received the socks and chocolates, and they certainly are fine. I was just thinking all day how I would like to have some real Canadian chocolates and then along some came. Thank, Frank very much for me. The socks of course are just what I needed and are always welcome in this country.

Well you will see by the address that I am at a different place since I last wrote you. We just arrived here Tuesday and expect to stay here now until we go
