Mary H. [Wal?]
Louisburg March 22, 1942
My Dearest Susan

I have looked for a letter from you
until I have got out of all kind of patience, what
on earth is the reason you dont write a little often
for you must know how anxious I am always to
hear from youall, I know there isno one in this
life that can an does feel half as anxious as I am
for every person has some bodyelse to love, and I have
only you and my dearest darling baby Sheppard
that are as dear to me as if you were my own
childre, so my dear love wite and let me hear
everything that concerns youand allhe says and
does even the most simple thing interests me coming
from you, Louisburg is as dull as a [door?] [part?] and
looks as if the folks had lost every disposition to even
smile except Mrs Foster & [ ] [ ]. Mrs [ ]
family are all well and so are all the folks [ ]
Foster dont seem to care
