You need not write me again until next
[Sunday?} week and then direct to Waynesborough,
and you need not expect a letter from me
before that time- I mention this because [ ]
courthouse is not on any direct mail route, and
a letter would hardly reach there before the
end of court

I concur entirely in the [ ] [ ] of
your letter. The things of this world are fast fading
away and the [ ] ocean of eternity is just
before us and it is surely the part of wisdom to
make some preparation for the voyage which we
must all willingly or unwillingly take upon it.
