Dear Sir
I have this morning
shiped Virginia & children to S.B. Ewing
Houston Texas with special instructions to
sell her not to return to this place or Miss
I gave her character and did not limit the
sale when sold to remit account sales & nett
proceeds to Nalle Cox & Co of this place
for your benefit I will give Nalle Cox & Co
a copy of my letter of instructions I had
to hire a young man to go with her to
Galveston. I have a conversation with Judge
Boyd on the subject of some Vacant land
lying on the Rail Road near this place on the
[Opelmoaz?] Road about 40 miles from here it is
high cane land and has not been surveyed
I have a man to procure it as soon as it
is surveyed Boyd tells me it will suit
you & him I must have a slice of it I
think I have the wheels arranged that I can
procure it there is some ten to 20 Thousand
Acres. If it in one body Boyd requested me
to write you on the subject My man will
make a report to me some time in May he is
well acquainted with his business and will
