I don't know how I shall manage to ((?)) - this ((?)), William, as we have no quarrel on hand. it does indeed seem strange ((?)) has been seen style of writing for me to write - without - having some of my many faults - to - defend and ((?)) and remind you occasionally of some of yours - It - is a blatant reflections though that all these little differences only reveal to strengthen - and bind more closely the "silken cord". I have determined to call you William think it's much prettier than Mark - and another thing I don't like to call you what - every body else does - "I like variety" even in ((?)) names - especially when there is a much variety in the character - dispositions and failings of the two men ((?)) ((?)) - Bob, and Pinks brother, the ((?)), was here the day after you ((?)) = am sorry you did not - see him. he is a smart
