Patience has been in so strange a state since yesterday morning we have concluded is but erring on the safe side by sending for Dr Curtis - Malley seems always so reluctant to part with Tip - he has gone with him & Floyd followed suit - Tip going to Mr Grants instead of to Brunswick Your dear Sisters & myself consequently are alone. Bill is glad to go to Hamilton by her you can send your kind offering

Your dear Father - Lord Floyd & Mr Portell have just returned - Mr Hyles was acquieted [sic] last night - I am glad your Father & Lordy stuck by him. T'was what our beloved would have done - the dear ones say they are well.

I take this chance to send home the two barrels William loaned me - also to send you some peaches Miss Gould sent here for you - I heard from dear Geo - she sends love to you my precious child
