Dear David:

It has been a rather long time since I've written to
you, yet I think of you often. I should write more
but time seems to always be a negative factor.
I hope this letter finds everyone in good health.
Everyone here is well.
I was in your part of the country in April, at the
University of Maine at Orono. I was a visiting
artist for a few days; it was a wonderful experience.
I knew the country was beautiful, but I didn't
know it was that beautiful! I hope to return someday.
My show went quite well for me. I got good reviews
and responses to my work. A considerable
amount of the work was done after your visit that
I would like very much for you to see. I hope
to have slides soon. The bronze that ou asked me
about called "In The Bag" I saved for you if you are
still interested. The price on that work is [redacted]
if you wish for me to pack it just let me know when
and where.
I am now completing the second part of the "Biko" series.
I wish very much that you were near that we could
[crossed out: docuss] discuss these ideas. Oh, thanks for the article
on Steve Biko it helped. It gave me this thought:
"No one mounds his passing
And few know that he's gone
Steve Biko doesn't live here anymore"

Peace David,
