Finally, I recommend that Jack's compensation be maintained at current levels for the services
which he would perform as a Trustee Emertius. I believe it is reasonable that a special endowment
be established for this purpose and I would be happy, as a friend of the School to discuss this idea.

I think that in looking at a piece of art one can see the artist and his love, his breath, and his life
poured into form. So Jack has attempted to shape, color, breathe life into and love Skowhegan.
As the future of Skowhegan is passed into new hands, it is my hope that the hands of those who
helped create it are not left empty.

I thank you for this opportunity to share my feelings and I rest assured knowing that the future of
Skowhegan has been entrusted in such capable and caring persons.
