Jambo! Beautiful friends! Received Your letter and immediately set about planning a visit. I look forward very much to being with you, Thelma, Darius and assorted friends and family. I have received an okay from my office for the week of July 15-19. To make it convenient, I have Enclosed a card with arrival and departure times. So- WE will be seeing you July 15th. David, you cannot know how Exciting and beautiful a visit to Maine will be for me. Maine is a place you read about, but how many Mid-Western Black people get to visit? Well, at least Daneisha & I will experience that this summer! Everyone at this point in time and space are fine. Brian is working as a counselor and still shining in Fine Arts at Wayne State. My Parents and Younger family are living the life

in Florida. My mom has been so Entranced with the ocean that she has gotten into making shell jewelery and Enjoys it. I hear from Sharon periodically. Haven't been in touch with Saief & Veela since Chicago visit. I will be informing them of my visit with you this summer. I guess these next few questions should be directed to Thelma. > What kinds of clothes should I bring for Daneisha. I already imagine about 20 prs. of undies but will the weather permit short pants? > Should I try & ship my bike, or can I rent one, or is the water and forest or picnic area within walking distance? > Would it be wise to have several prs. of long pants & shirts for her? > Please make any suggestions that may make my packing more [crossed out word] effective.

my greatest desire is to get up Every morning and find a secluded cove or grassy area. I want to spend my day reading or sleeping, or simply watching the grown lady I travel with "reeead". We want to be as little trouble as possible. I am always on a diet, and Daneisha loves to eat, so whatever the fare will be for te week is cool with us. I am so happy. The simple thought of being around you loving people makes anticipation so good! If you have a moment and there is any other preparation I should make, just let me know. I am positive in my heart that it will be beautiful. Take care & see you very soon. LOVE, Daneisha & glora.

David, Received your letter and was very happy to hear from you. I must Admit, I was in bed on that day ill and your letter really cheered me up. Would You believe I have Kidney Stones, and have just had surgery as you might recall for bladder infection. Maybe I will get normal Soon (Smile). I hope to Pass the Stones and not undergo Surgery. My doctor said they are very small and most likely I will pass them. Well so much for that. Bob is a little Worried because my doctor in Nashville

didn't detect it. I tried to explain to him that it's very possible that this happened after school ended because I really go wild on this huge farm. I really drink to much ice tea and Lemonade and I make it awfully sweet. After I told him that he got mad at ME! (smile). Do give the family my regards and Maybe the weather will become favorable soon. As for my plans, I do hope to return to Nashville and I will Continue with Spring Street on the Side. thanks again for the lovely letter and do take Care.
Respectfully, Yvonne
