Text of Petition (drag lower right corner to enlarge box): the 40th this Court. The which are now ready and will be
forwarded by the first safe conveyance; as the map is laid
down on a large scale I think it more then probable I
would sustain an injury if sent by the mail unless you
think proper to direct it by that conveyance

Mr. White charges twenty dollars for the copies, which
I am persuaded you will deem best reasonable when you
see them. He desired me to request you to pay that sum
to Mr. Charles McChing and forward his receipt for that
amount received on his [behalf?]
