Gentlemen: - Your original
favor of the 11th Nov - containing an order for 6,000
Apple scions was recd three days since. You directed
to East instead of West Northfield which accounts
for the long time it has been on the road.

Your letter of Dec 20th reached us without accident
and I have complied with the instructions which
it contains, in a manner I trust that [will?] be
satisfactory to you. I send you this day per.
Express one large box - marked "Geo. J. & S.H.
Kellogg - nurserymen - Janesville Wis." which
I hope you will receive in good order.

My Father left for Springifeld before the
arrival of your order - so that in selecting
your varieties I have not had the benefit
