Friday
Ladies General comt.
12 present. Maria Hodnett called
she is very happy in her situation. and thanked the
ladies "for what they had done for her".

Saturday 8th
Went out 1/4 past 6 oclk and purchased
vegetables for the week at Central
market. 3/6. The messenger card. [carried] them home on Barrow, and at 1/2 10 oclk I went to P.N.Z. & A.R.M. Co
office and received £36.13.6 being
the amount due for washing the
S.S. "Rakaia's" linen last month. and left
it with our Treasurer. I also called at
'Cohen's Hotel', saw Mr. Cohen himself, asked
him if they could give us any work, he said
their laundress suited them at present, but if
additional work should be required, he would
bear us in mind.

Sabbath 9th
Revd. W. Mills preached 11 oclk. Mr. Roberts
in the evening.
Mary Sutton is very ill. she is nearly blind also.
we have had more sickness lately amongst the
inmates than usual. They were all
clean and orderly. and very attentive at
the services.
